Visual design updates for FAG SES split plummer block housings

Press release Schaeffler painted black all SES serie housings

The SES series, which replaced the SNV plummer block housing series, are now painted black instead of grey. Outer appearance change led to confusion, so Schaeffler decided to issue a press release to dismiss questions whether they might be counterfeits.

Updated desing consists:

• The threaded holes for retrofitting sensors and the like are now sealed with grub screws rather than plastic plugs
• Instead of glued-on nameplates, the product designations are now molded directly into the housing.
• The paint finish has been changed completely to satin black

In technical terms, products remained unchanged.
