PTB bearings feature a universal design that makes them easy to install and replace. Individual bearings can be flexibly combined in different arrangements depending on the application, simplifying both initial installation and subsequent maintenance.

Characteristics of FAG PTB Precision Bearings

FAG PTB precision bearings are high-stiffness bearings capable of supporting significant radial and axial loads with minimal deflection. They are designed for the operating conditions typically found in driven tools and are suitable for use in tool spindles as well as in other assemblies requiring high precision and rigidity.

The bearing rings and rolling elements are made of 100Cr6 rolling bearing steel. PTB precision bearings are available in dimension series 70 and 719, with bore codes from 00 to 10, contact angle E = 25°, and tolerance class P4.

Both open and sealed versions are available. Sealed bearings are factory-lubricated with the optimum amount of high-performance grease, making them easier to handle and reducing the risk of contamination during installation.
